Founded in 2023 by the mother-and-son team of Kathleen and Brian, River Towne Staging was born from a shared passion for real estate, design, and helping others showcase their homes at their very best. The name “River Towne” is a tribute to our roots in Richmond, Virginia—lovingly known by locals as The River City because of its close connection to the beautiful James River. It felt only fitting to incorporate a piece of the place we proudly call home into our name.

At River Towne Staging, our team works in seamless collaboration with each client to create thoughtfully curated designs for both occupied and vacant homes throughout Central Virginia. Our goal is simple: highlight the full potential of every space so it captivates buyers the moment they walk through the door.

As RESA Certified Staging Design Professionals™, Kathleen and Brian stay on the cutting edge of design trends, colors, and styles that help listings stand out in today’s competitive market. In addition, Brian’s experience as a Licensed REALTOR® provides valuable insight into local market trends and buyer behavior—ensuring every staging decision is strategically designed to inspire buyers and help them fall in love with your home or listing.

Brian Casey

Brian brings a strong background in customer service and business management to River Towne Staging. After spending many years successfully managing businesses for others, he transitioned those skills into real estate, becoming both a Licensed REALTOR® and a Certified Staging Design Professional™. His experience gives him a unique perspective on what buyers are looking for and how thoughtful design can help a home truly stand out in today’s market.

When he’s not working with clients or creating beautiful spaces, Brian enjoys spending time with friends and family—especially anywhere near the water, whether that means relaxing by it or getting out on it.

Kathleen Ferguson

Kathleen brings more than 30 years of experience from the medical field to River Towne Staging, where her dedication to people and attention to detail continue to shine. After a successful career in healthcare, she made an exciting transition into design and is now a Certified Staging Design Professional™. Kathleen combines her strong communication skills with a natural eye for detail to help clients prepare their homes to make a beautiful and lasting impression on buyers.

When she’s not helping create stunning spaces, Kathleen loves spending time with her three grandsons or relaxing with friends over a good glass of wine.
